Privacy

Privacy

Short, because we collect almost nothing.

Grapheme is a static site. There are no accounts, no logins, and no forms that store anything about you.

What we collect

Nothing personal by default. The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or tracking pixels.

Analytics

If analytics is switched on, it is GoatCounter — a cookie-free counter that records page views without building a profile of you, and does not follow you across other sites.

Comments

Comments, where enabled, are handled by Giscus and stored as discussions on GitHub. Posting a comment requires signing in to GitHub, and is then governed by GitHub's privacy statement. We see your public GitHub username and what you write — nothing more.

The verification page

When you upload a card or QR image to verify a post, the code is read in your browser. The image is never uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere.

Fonts

Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads.
