About
A pager that shows text one screen at a time. You can scroll both ways, search and jump. It reads from a pipe as happily as from a file, and tames the output of any command.
Install it
pkg install less
Run this inside Termux. If the package is already present, pkg will say so and
do nothing.
Commands worth knowing

less app.log Open a long log in a scrollable view, not all at once. less +F app.log Start in follow mode, like a live tail. New lines appear as they are written. less -N app.log Show line numbers down the left side of the screen. less -S data.csv Stop long lines from wrapping, so wide rows scroll sideways. less -R app.log Display raw colour escape codes correctly, keeping tinted output intact. less +/ERROR app.log Open the pager already scrolled to the first line matching the pattern. Worked example
Run less -N app.log and this is what you should see.
$ less -N app.log
1 2026-10-24 09:15 INFO starting service
2 2026-10-24 09:15 INFO listening on port 8080
3 2026-10-24 09:16 WARN slow query took 1200ms
